CELEBRATING A PROUD CULINARY HERITAGE

We are proud and honoured to have all three of the South African Chef’s Association Honorary Presidents and South Africa’s most decorated Chefs bestow their personal awards, achievements, and prized accolades to HTA School of Culinary Art for our Students to look at, admire and aspire to achieve. In honour of these three Chef icons, the School has dedicated a room to each Chef, allowing all HTA students the opportunity to view a combined 120 years of local and international Culinary Heritage and achievements.

The Memorabilia displayed in the Bill Gallagher Boardroom proudly showcases 50 Years of Culinary excellence and was donated by the late Dr. Bill Gallagher to give future generations of Chefs a legacy to which they can aspire.

The Heinz Brunner Boardroom at HTA

The Heinz Brunner Boardroom proudly showcases the achievements of one of the Hospitality Industry’s greatest local and international icons for over three decades. Donated by Heinz Brunner, the memorabilia in this room serves as a permanent reminder to future generations of Chefs that, through hard work and dedication, anything is possible.

The Manfred Muellers Hospitality Lounge at HTA

This room reflects the essential foundation of learning that has been the life work of Manfred Muellers. He has dedicated his life to passing on his formidable culinary knowledge to hospitality students for nearly four decades. Top chefs and hoteliers have passed through his classrooms and his inspiration continues here with a display of his many successes and global culinary recognition.
